One of my all time favourite photo sessions that I shoot, is most definatly Cake Smashes, I get the opportunity to create a unique set that is special to the bubba turning one and their loved ones. When a client chooses me for their Cake Smash photographer, I get to hear about what is special to there little one, I ask them a few different questions like what are bubs interests? does he/she love music, princesses, sports, super heroes are they a ruff and ready kid, or more chilled. Mum and Dad may also have things that are significant to them that they want resembled and signified in there smash for example rainbow babies, IVF bubs, Rainbow babies or even things like there parents interests or job can be incorporated. Sometimes it can seem a little overwhelming to a parent with so many options. I also offer them a list that I call my wish list, that has a list of different themes that I have been dreaming about doing and this list is only a short list of what is actually in my head, just a little something that might get them inspired.
